What is Masa Finance?

Masa Finance is a decentralized data infrastructure platform designed to support the development and building of AI applications. The platform enables users to share their data to earn passive income, while developers can access decentralized data without relying on central servers, thereby creating AI applications tailored to user needs.

What Problem Does Masa Finance Solve?

In the digital age, AI has made significant contributions across sectors like commerce, healthcare, and education. However, AI also introduces new challenges, particularly concerning privacy and data security. Users, who are the primary data providers, often do not receive any benefits from sharing their data. Moreover, personal data is at risk of manipulation, abuse, or unauthorized use.

Masa Finance aims to create a decentralized, transparent, and secure data platform that gives users full control over their data through the issuance of soulbound tokens using ZK technology (zkSBT). This ensures that developers can only use the data for purposes agreed upon by users and must comply with data security regulations.

To achieve this goal, Masa Finance offers a key feature called Marketplace, a data exchange platform connecting users and developers. Additionally, the platform provides features like staking, bridging, and domain services to enhance the user experience.

Features of Masa Finance

Marketplace

The core feature of Masa Finance, the Marketplace, allows users to choose supported data-sharing pools and earn rewards. Each pool provides detailed information on usage purposes, developers, and rewards, enabling users to select based on their needs. Currently, the platform supports two pools: Masa AI Pool and Mocaverse AI Data Pool.

Stake

Staking allows users to deposit MASA tokens on Ethereum, Base, and BNB Chain networks, earning APY ranging from 15% to 25%, depending on the staking period (minimum of 3 months, maximum of 9 months). Note that unstaking is not yet supported, so users should monitor their investments carefully.

Bridge

The Bridge feature enables users to transfer MASA tokens across different networks, including Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Masa. Users need a small amount of native tokens from the source network for gas fees.

Domain

The Domain feature lets users own identification domains across various networks (Celo, Ethereum, Masa, Polygon, Scroll). Users can set the validity period, with a minimum of 1 year. The longer the ownership period, the higher the fee, and shorter domain names also incur higher fees.
